The Professor and Naomi Kay is a collaboration between Vancouver area vocalist/violinist Naomi Koit and Kingston, Ontario, guitarist/producer Wayne Cox. The project begun in the spring of 2011 as an attempt to blend the musical tastes and talents of Naomi and Wayne into a pop sound that reflects their varied musical influences and experiences.
Naomi Koit is a gifted young vocalist and musician with many contemporary influences. Wayne Cox has more than 30 years experience playing lead guitar and bass with numerous bands and musicians, writing and producing hundreds of songs, and doing considerable studio and session work.
